My words are mighty

Formidable and strange

They fit inside this

Broken frame

Fit to burst and break

Yet they heal me

From within

Throat chakra opens

An outpouring of light

Warmth spreading

Across the page

A poet with no name

Speaks volumes

Building bridges

Where the water

Threatens to rush

And drown the heart

We see a path

Through the trees

In dreams

We are truly awake

Night opens our eyes

Each stanza

Every refrain

A hand brushing

Across your cheek

Making you feel known
